Walk and Talk Therapy will provide you with an opportunity to move your body in a restorative and nurturing outdoor environment. The therapeutic process can be deepened as evidence-based literature has demonstrated that ecotherapy can be an effective tool when sorting out thoughts and feelings.

The following are some potential benefits from ecotherapy through walking and talking:

  • the parasympathetic nervous system is activated which allows for stress reduction

  • some success in therapy results from understanding messages that our bodies are telling us when dealing with tough emotions; moving our bodies while talking allows for more connection to our needs
